This is a small, low cost Transmissive sensor that can be used for a variety of tasks. Its housing is perfect for detecting traversing or straight line running yarns. This style of housing could be used to produce a low cost sensor for many different applications. The output can be designed to suit the requirements of the application.
DTY
The DTY sensor can be successfully applied to a variety of machines. This sensor is capable of detecting the very finest Lycra up to carpet yarn. The sensor circuit can be modified to meet the requirements of the machine. There is a choice of ceramic sizes available depending on yarn size. A version is available with a touch switch to inhibit the sensor output.
Custom Built

For high volume, a custom built sensor can be very economical. Once designed to match the machine, these sensors can be fitted to the machine and operate to an exact function.
